Presentation Night: There was a good crowd in attendance at our annual presentation night last Saturday in the Clubhouse. Presentations on the night were made to Ciaran Logue – Player of the Year 2014, Newly Weds- Seamus and Charlotte McMenamin, Maureen Greenan – Top Lotto Seller 2014 and to Darren Kelly in recognition of his achievement in captaining Magee College to an All-Ireland title.

 

125 Scor Concert: We will host a concert of past Scor and Scor na nOg acts in the school hall this Monday March 16th commencing at 8pm. Our club has been very successful in the Scor competition down through the years and this will be an opportunity to see some of our successful acts of the past take to the stage again. We will also be issuing a commemorative booklet listing all those who have participated in Scor for our club. Everybody is welcome to come along on what is sure to be a fantastic night’s entertainment.

 

125 Mural Unveiling/Jersey Presentation:

Our long awaited club mural will be unveiled on St Patrick’s Day at the clubhouse at 11am. This will be followed by apresentation of a new set of jerseys by sponsors Spanwrightand Clones Credit Union. Everybody is welcome to come along to these 125 events. 

 
Club Ties:
We are now taking orders for a special club 125 commerativetie which will be for sale shortly. Priced at 10 euro they would make an ideal birthday, father’s day or partner’s present for 2015.

 

Speedy Recovery: The club would like to wish a speedy recovery to Eoin McCarville who sustained a nasty shoulder injury recently. We hope to see Eoin back in action soon.

 

Fixtures:

Platinum Tanks RFL Div 3: Our reserves will kick off the competitive season with a home game against Monaghan Harps this Sunday at 12pm.

Presentation Night: We had an enjoyable evening at our annual presentation night. Congratulations to all our U/14 squad on their achievements last year. Thanks to Charlotte and Marian for making the presentations.

Reserve League: We take on Aughnamullen this Saturday in Eire Og at 3pm.

Senior league: Our first game of the senior league takes place on Firday/Saturday 20th/21st March away to Magheracloone. Please check Fixtures for definite times and dates.

U/14: The league is scheduled to begin on 23rd March where we face Doohamlet at home.

Good Luck: To the Ellen, Anita, Charlotte, Laura, Marian and the county team as they take on Mayo this Sunday in Blackhill at 2pm.
