2015 Championship Draws
Our senior team have been drawn against Inniskeen in the Preliminary round of the SFC. The winners play play either Donaghmoyne or Truagh in the 1st Round. Meanwhile, our Junior team will play Rockcorry in the 1st Round of the JFC.

Social Club
We are pleased to announce that our Social Club is open for all events. Whether it be a Christening, Party, Communion, Confirmation or any other event we are happy to cater for your needs. We offer packages supplying food and entertainment tailored to your requirements. 2015 Sports Prediction Quiz
On Saturday night last we launched the 2015 Sports Prediction Quiz. It consists of 25 sporting events over the course of 2015 with points been allocated after each event. The applicant with the most points will win a top prize of €500. Entries must be returned before 25th Feb. Complete online (www.scotstowngaa.com) or simply pick an entry form from a committee member. All proceeds go towards club finances.

Allianz National Football League
Monaghan made an excellent start to their NFL campaign by overcoming Tyrone 1-13 to 0-9 in Healy Park on Saturday night. Scotstown man Darren Hughes picked up MOTM. Cork are next up this Sunday at 2pm in Castleblayney. You can purchase your Adult tickets in McMahons Centra in the village for a discounted rate before Sunday whilst u16s are free. Get the dinner into you early and go support your county!!!

U21 Shamrock Cup
The U21s finished off a good weekend with a victory over Louth in the Shamrock Cup. Full time score was Monaghan 1- 19 Louth 1 – 11. Conor McCarthy contributed 7 of those points with Donnacha Dolan also scoring 1. They will now play Tyrone at a Tyrone venue this weekend.

Club Membership
Our committee have been working hard lately on providing the best value for club membership this year. The following has been agreed for membership for 2015: Non Playing Member €30, Adult Playing Member (Over 18) €30, Youth Playing Member (12-18) €20, Academy Member (1st Child) €20, Academy Member (2nd, 3rd and 4th child in Family), Family Membership (2 Parents + 1 Child) €65, Family Membership (2 Parents + 2 Children) €70, Family Membership (2 Parents + 3 or More Children) €75. Please note, an Academy Member is a child playing U8 and U10. This year the Family Membership offers that if two parents register, they will get a reduced rate of €5 for each child.

Ciste Draw
The Ciste took place on Satruday night. The January Ciste draw took place on Saturday night in the Complex, and the winners were: €700 Darren Smyth, Ballybay; €300 Bernie Creighan, Stracunnion; €100 Eva Sherlock, Toneyclay; €100 Colm McKenna, Saint Dympna’s Terrace; €100 Emily Rose Beggan, Scotstown; €100 Brian Treanor, Dundian; €100 Michael Boylan, Derryarrit; €100 Harry McCormack, Mullantimore. Sellers Prizes: €30 Sean Morgan and €30 Eugene McKenna. The next draw will be on Saturday, February 28th in the Social Club We have recently added a new feature to the website. You are now able to purchase Ciste online. A payment of €28 is made every 4 months via Paypal. This is an excellent feature now for all Scotstown gaels living abroad to be in with a chance of winning the €700 top prize every month but also supporting our club. Irish Classes:
Ciorcal Gaeilge every Tuesday in the meeting room, sports complex between 8.30pm-9.30pm. Fáilte roimh gach duine.

Upcoming Coaching Workshops/Courses
Monaghan GAA are running the following courses over the coming months. 1) Foundation Coaching Course – March 6th +7th. 2) Level 1- Child 13th+14th March. 3) Level 1 Adult- 27th+28th Feb + 1st March. Anybody wishing to do these courses please contact David on 087-6202242. Remember you must have the Foundation course done at the very minimum to be involved with a team in 2015. In 2016 you must have a Level 1.

Senior Scór
Senior Scór will take place in February (Date not decided). Anyone interested taking part in any of the events, please contact Pauline on 0879655031. Anyone interested in becoming part of the quiz team and taking part please also contact Pauline.

Senior Ladies
Senior Ladies Training Wednesday 4th and Friday 6th at 7.30pm in Kilmore. Old and new faces welcome.
