Fundraising
Congratulations and thanks to everyone who supported the recent National Draw by both buying and selling tickets. This draw will be held in conjunction with Annual Congress at the end of the month. Also well done to Sonia Casey and all who were involved in the ‘Belarus’ fundraising last weekend. At least one player will be more ‘aerodynamic’ after the night.

Recent bereavements.
Currin G.F.C. were sad to learn of the recent deaths of Caroline Farrelly, Arthur Maguire and Kathleen Scarlett, all of whom had a great association with Currin, in particular with the Connons part of our club. Arthur Maguire who was uncle of Tommy, current senior team member, and brother of Geraldine, died recently in Newtownbutler. Kathleen Scarlett, Drumboughena, was a great supporter of our club and was also interred in Newtownbutler. Caroline Farrelly, Bettystown, Co. Meath and formerly of Drummully who was predeceased by her father Patsy Snr., mother Kitty and brother Patsy Jnr. died suddenly last week.
