Monaghan Co Board   are running 2 Child Protection Basic Awareness courses over the next few weeks. The 1st is on Thursday 26 February and a second course on Tuesday 3 March

Both courses run from 7 to 10 pm in Cloghan. Cost €10 per person

We will also be sending out details in the near future of a First aid evening in Cloghan for sports injuries early in March. Runs 6.30-9.00pm Cost per person €35

Numbers are limited on all of these courses. Please let  Children’s Officer John Mc Ardle ASAP if you have members who are interested in participating in these courses. If the club is bearing the cost of the course, then we will require a letter from the club secretary.

New GAA Garda Vetting Form July 2014

Remember that at this stage we would hope that all committee members, club coaches and referees are all properly vetted. Forms must be printed on a single page and a consent form attached to any persons under 16 years of age. This can be obtained from the Resource section of the Website. Can we please ask people filling them in to make it possible to read the detail please because it is extremely hard to read many of the returned forms. Please mark completed forms for attention of the childrens officer in Cloghan or at the  following address –
