Variety Show
On Friday night last, the club held a variety show to celebrate our 60th anniversary and the event was a huge success. A great night was had by all as a real variety of acts entertained a sell-out crowd in Íontas Theatre, Castleblayney. A huge amount of work went into preparing for the night and without going down the route of naming individuals, the club would like to sincerely thank ALL of those who played any part in ensuring the show was a success.

Scór Sinsir
Scór Sinsir (for over 17 year olds) will take place on Saturday the 21st of February in Corcaghan at 7.30pm. Anyone interested in representing the club should contact David Connolly on 0862517407 before Monday February 9th

Message from our Chairman
Personally as Chairman of Castleblayney Hurling Club I would like to thank all of those who helped with our 60th anniversary variety show and also all of those who came along to support us. I would also like to pay tribute to our hard working committee and to those I started off with in 1970. Paddy McEneaney, Terry Connolly, Eddie Murphy, Frank Marron, Frank McQuaid, Tommy Joe Murphy and myself kept our club going through very lean times . They are my heroes and I have some wonderful memories of my times with them. It is at times like this that we miss them the most. Noel McGuigan
