Club Lotto! The draw for a jackpot of €1600 was held in the Emmet Centre on Monday night when the numbers drawn were 11-24-25 and 26. There were no matching numbers so the jackpot rises to €1700 this week. The Farney Players! Thanks to all the patrons who were part of the full house in the Garage Theatre in Monaghan for presentation of “Wanted One Body” which went down a treat. Everyone is delighted with the response to the show and the Emmets want to acknowledge the assistance of the Monaghan public who came out to support this fund-raising effort which goes towards the expansion of our facilities at our new grounds on the Donaghmoyne road.
