All-Ireland Champion: Congratulations to Senior Player Darren Kelly who captained Magee College, Derry to the All-Ireland title in the Corn na Mac Leinn competition . This is the first time in their history that Magee have won the title and it is a fantastic achievement for Darren and his team mates.

 

Sympathy: 
Owing to the death of Mrs Mary Kelly ,Tyredigan, andformerly Tattenclave, our club presentation night last Saturday night was postponed as a mark of respect to Saturday 7th March. Mary was mother of Johnny Kelly, Hon. Vice President of our club and long time committee member, and Seamus Kelly a valued club lotto seller.   We extend our sincere sympathy to the extended Kelly family on their bereavement.
 
Club Ties:
We are now taking orders for a special club 125 commerativetie which will be for sale shortly. Priced at 10 euro they would make an ideal birthday, father’s day or partner’s present for 2015.

 

Fixtures:

Platinum Tanks RFL Div 3:

Our reserves will get the 2015 competitive season underway when they travel to St. Oliver Plunkett Park to take on Emyvale this Sunday 1st March at 2pm. Please come along and support this young team.

Championship Draws:

Our Senior team have been drawn to play Eire Og in the preliminary round of the Junior Football Championship while our Reserve team have been drawn to play Killeevan in the McKeown Cup.

 

Referee Recruitment: Trainee Referee Foundation Course will commence on Friday 6th March at Cloghan for new referees. Anybody from the club interested is asked to contact a committee member or John Mullen, Referees Administrator.

Ladies Notes 

Sympathy: The club extents sincere sympathy to Johnny Kelly and family, Tyredigan and the extended Kelly family on the death of Johnny’s mother Mary Kelly. Also sympathy is extended to Cheedie Brady and family, Glynch, on the death of Cheedie’s aunt, Bridie Higgins.

Reserve League: Following on from our amalgamation with Eire Og at senior and minor level, (Emmet Og) we have our first reserve (NCSG) game this Saturday away to Monaghan Harps at 3pm .

Congrats: To the county team on their win over Cork last Sunday in Blackhill and also to Chloe Brady who represented our club at the half time mini-games. 

Congrats: To Evelyn & Eddie Dinkin on the birth of their baby girl, also to Celine & Aaron Murray on the birth of their baby boy.
