Intermediate League

Our gallant efforts to maintain intermediate status were all in vain. Defeat last Sunday to Cremartin has relegated the Seans to the Junior Division for 2015. The Seans started confidentially and gained a lead until half time. However as the second half developed, Cremartin became stronger and run out victors by 3 points. A word of thanks and appreciation from the committee to all the mentors and players who devoted their time and energy throughout the year in training and playing. Although the luck was not with us this year we have given some new players their first experience of playing in the senior squad and hopefully this will continue.

Bingo

Bingo continues every Monday night in the complex. The usual prizes are on offer. The big jackpot now stands at over € 5000 on 45 calls.

Monster Auction

Sunday Nov.2nd at 5pm will see the traditional fundraiser of selling old and new items collected from the area. It is essential that items are in good repair e.g. unwanted gifts, household bric a brac, furniture, wall pictures, electrical goods, tools, books, cd’s, toys etc.

Any goods can be left at the complex on Saturday 1st Nov. between 2-5pm. Anybody with large items needing them transported to the complex can arrange a collection by contacting any committee member.

Also could all advertisers please return their annual subscription in the prepaid envelopes to the treasurer as soon as possible.
