Can you please ensure that the information below is passed onto parents & players who will be involved at the Activity Day in Croke Park from Monaghan.

Find attached the pick up points & times for children/helpers/referees going to the Activity Day in Croke Park Saturday 11^th October 2014.

Monaghan’s time slot to play on Croke Park is 9:30 to 11pm and the tour of the Museum is due to take place from 11:00 to 12:00. 

 The tour of the Museum will last approximately one (1) hour and then we will be sitting down to eat your packed lunch in the Cusack Stand.

Bus Times

Bus Number One

Topaz Monaghan Town (across from St Macartan’s) at 7.15am

Clontibret (Braeside Shop) at 7:30am.

Bus Number Two

Castleblayney (Glencarn Hotel) at 7:30 am,

Carrickmacross Emmets GAA Grounds at 7.45 am

Both buses are scheduled to arrive at Croke Park at 9.00 am.

The return journey from Croke Park will commence at approximately 12:45pm. We estimate that we should be back in Carrick for 2.00pm, Castleblayney for 2:15pm, Clontibret 2:30pm and Monaghan for 2.45pm. The drop off points will be the same as the pick up points.

Please be advised that these RETURN times are estimates and parents should be aware that the return journey arrival times are approximate.

In order that the selected players get full value for their day will club officials please ensure that your players bring:

1. Shorts, Socks & T-shirt or jersey or jumper & Football boots.
2. Clothes to change into after the games
3. Packed Lunch for the day (there will be no food provided).

I have arranged enough people to help out on the day, so parents or people from the local club wishing to attend will have to make their own way up to Croke Park. There will be no parking available for spectators in Croke Park, all spectators are therfore asked to park behind the Croke Park Hotel.

Spectators are not permitted onto the Croke Park pitch at any time and will be restricted to the spectator accmmodation in the stands only. Photographs can be taken from the stand  opportunities for photos will take place immediately after the blitz.

CAN I ASK THAT YOU CHECK THE NAMES OF THE PLAYERS FROM YOUR CLUB THAT ARE DUE TO ATTEND THE ACTIVITY DAY & FOR WHATEVER REASON THEY CANNOT ATTEND PLEASE GET IN TOUCH ASAP.
