Lotto Results for Sunday last. Numbers drawn were 01, 04, 15, 17, There was no winner. Next weeks Jackpot now stands at €3,200. Lucky dip winners: Ulrika Mc Mahon, Declan Mc Ardle, Mickey Connolly. Seniors: Our seniors Lost to Blackhill. on Sunday last on a score line of Aughnamullen (0-6) to Blackhill  (1-9). Being top of the league table gives us a home game against Toome on Sunday next the 19th of October at 2.00pm in the Semi Final of the League. All support welcome. 
 
Thank You: We would like to thank Monaghan Co. Co. for funding received under the  Community & Environment Grant Scheme 2014 for our newly refurbished car park. We would like thank everyone involved for all their hard work as we can agree its gives a nice finished touch to our football ground. 
U13’s: These boys played in the under 13 blitz under flood lights in Cloghan last Thursday. They were in a very tough group were they won one game and lost two, but they all had a very enjoyable night. On Sunday this age group also took part in the latton tournament were they played very well and enjoy the it, thanks again to the Latton club for their invitation.
Under 11’s: The past few weeks the under 11 boys have taken part in a few tournaments the first was Drumgoon and the 2nd in Latton and performed well in both. We would like to thank both clubs for inviting us into their tournament which were very well organised.
Sarsfield Stars:
U8’s & 10’s:  This age group will continue on Saturday mornings untill weather permits.
Paddy Murtagh’s & Shane Mulligans age group will go ahead this Saturday morning were they want  the Parents to wait for 5 minutes after training so they can have a short meeting with them.
New Initiative: ​Sunday mornings the juvenile committee have arranged off the cuff football for boys under 8s to under 13s, this will commence on this coming Sunday 19th October , so all players be on the field for 11:45 for one full hour of fun.
Ice Bucket Challenge: Aughnamamullen GAA ice bucket challenge took place on saturday morning last.  Well done to the juvenile coaches of Aughnamullen GAA for taking part in the Ice Bucket challenge and also to Monaghan GAA stars Paul Finlay, Christopher McGuinness and Dermot Malone for taking part, and for being such good sports on the day.  Also Margaret Conlon.  Your support was very much appreciated. Thank you to all the parents and kids who turned out in large numbers to donate money for a great cause.  A special thank you to all the kids for having plenty of buckets with them. Thank you to Mike Curran for capturing the event on camera. and gave up his time and service free of charge and did a fantastic job, Well done Mike. All money & donations will go to Ballybay and Castleblayney Cancer societies. Donations still being received so we will have a final total figure next week.  A special word of thanks to Teresa Connolly for organising this event for a very worthy cause.​
Best Wishes: Best of luck to the Girls Senior Team and their mentors Joe Gilliland & Fintan Boyle who play in the Ulster Semi Finals in Corandonagh, Co Donegal this Saturday.
Vintage Day:
Date to keep free: Our Anual Vintage show will take place on Sunday the 26th of October. A day full of fun an interesting games. There will also be a Dog show with 4 classes which include Class 1: Dog in fancy dress. Class 2: Small Breed Pedigree. Class 3: Large Breed Pedigree. Class 4: Dog handled by a child under 12. Prizes for each class. Also Pony Rides Tug of War, Aughnamullen Pipe Band, Pet Corner an The Big event The Treshing. There will also be a draw for a Bull Calf with second and third prizes all proceeds of draw go to BallyBay cancer.Come out an enjoy a fun packed day.  
Cake Sale: ​Anyone interested in Baking cakes or any nice goodies for a cake sale on the Vintage day please contact any Vintage committee member or any club member a.s.a.p . All goodies will be very much apppreciated. 
 
Ladies: Congratulations to the seniors and their managers Joe Gilliland & Fintan Boyle on winning the Reserve League Final on Sunday last in Corduff against Latton, some girls from both teams sustained injuries we wish them a speedy recovery. The team are playing away on Saturday next the 18th of October in the Ulster Semi Finals, the match takes place in Corandonagh, Co Donegal at 2pm please come out and support this great team. The club is running a bus for the supporters and if you want a seat contact Alice Hannaway 0877627048 asap seats are filling fast so don’t be disappointed.  

Congrats: Congratulations is extended to Bernard Mc Cudden & Andrea Morgan on the birth of their baby girl. Also to Dermot & Mary Hannaway on the birth of their baby Boy recently.
Sympathy: Sympathy extended to Pauric Duffy Benmore on the death of his Father-in-law Peter McCreech who died recently.  May God have mercy on his soul.
