Last Saturday, double GoGames (U8’s and U10’s) blitzes took place across the county. There was 6 blitzes in total with 28 clubs taking part. In total over 1000 children took to the fields to represent their clubs.

The 6 blitzes that took place are as follows.

• Monaghan Harps – Seans, Scotstown Toome and Truagh participated in this blitz
• Ballybay – Doohamlet< Inniskeen and KIllanny participated in this blitz
• Latton – Clones, Corduff , Magheracloone and Rockcorry participated in this blitz.
• Emyvale – Currin, Killeevan, Eire Og and Cremartin  participated in this blitz.
• Corduff – Castleblayney, Oram, Carrickmacross and Aughnamullen participated in this blitz.
• Drumhowan – Tyholland, Aghabog and Donaghmoyneparticipated in this blitz.

Again a big thank you to the host clubs for the use of their facilities, organising fixtures, and setting up of pitches

We would also like to thank the  clubs that took part in the blitzes, also a big thank you to the referee’s, who done an excellent job of referring the games.
