Seniors:
Last Sunday afternoon saw our Senior team in action in the Intermediate Football Championship as they took on Cremartin in Aughnamullen. This was a tight encounter throughout with both sides guilty of being rather wasteful in front of goal. Thankfully the lads had enough in tank and came out with a narrow win which has sent them into the Championship semi final. Their next game is this Sunday morning when we take on neighbours Iniskeen at home. Throw in is at 12.30 in Donaghmoyne. Please come show your support for the team this Sunday morning.

U21s:

The U21 panel took on Killeeven in the league final on Wednesday evening. See next weeks notes for the result.

U14s:

On Saturday morning our U14 team took on Latton in the division 2 league shield final. This was a tihgt enounter right from the off, with both sides giving an excellent display of themselves. Unfortunately it wasn’t to be for the Donaghmoyne lads as a strong Latton team finished the strongest and therefore took home the silverwear. Disappointed surely but the lads can hold their heads high and hopefully they can use this as a stepping stone for the future. Hard luck lads, keep the head up!
Mini Fontenoys:
Mini Fontenoys continue this Saturday morning from 11-12 in Donaghmoyne, weather permitting. All children from the ages of 5-10 years old are welcome. Parents are asked to get involved and help out and coach our future stars.

Important Notice:

The number 19 jersey belonging to our mens Senior Jerseys is and has been missing for some time time now. We ask if people would check to make sure they have not got it at home and if people know of its whereabouts could it please be returned ASAP.

Mouthguards:
Gum Shields have now become compulsory for both training and matches in the season ahead. It’s important all juvenile players and senior players have their mouthguard in place before entering the playing grounds. At Annual Congress in April 2012, a new rule was enacted that made it mandatory to use a mouthguard in all Gaelic football matches and training sessions from January 1st 2013 for all age grades up to and including minor. The rule will now come into effect at Under 21 and Adult level from January 1st 2014. Players will not be covered under the player injury scheme if they are not wearing a mouthguard.
Lucozade Sport Bottle Caps:
The Lucozade Sport Bottle Caps for the Donaghmoyne Club Crusade can be dropped into any of the 4 schools in the Parish, Mc Caugheys shop and also Lisdoonan Shop. Please Support.

Ladies

Seniors:

Last weekend our Senior Ladies team took on Emyvale in the County Senior Championship Final. This was a tough battle between two great teams, played in a very sporting manner. Thankfully the girls had the firepower on the day to go on and take the spoils as they were crowned County Champions for the 12th time in a row. A fantastic achievement at any grade in any sport, an achievement the whole club can be very proud of, well done to all players and management.

U12s:

Our u12 girls team took on Emyvale in the league final last Saturday morning . At full time nothing could seperate the sides, which means we’ll have to do it all again. A date and venue has yet to be confirmed for the replay so refer to the official fixtures. Keep up the good work girls.
