Seniors:
Last Sunday afternoon saw our Senior team in action in the Intermediate Football League as they took on Emyvale away from home. Both teams put on quite an impressive displlay of football with some quality scores being taken at both ends. At the end of this shootout unfortunately our lads came out on the wrong side of the result as Emyvale took the points. Thankfully they have the chance to redeem themselves this Sunday as they take on Cremartin in the Intermediate Football Championship in Aughnamullen at 1.30. Make the short trip on Saturday to get behind the team as they look to advance to the next round.
U21s:
The U21 panel take on Killeeven in the league final next Wednesday Sept. 10th.Throw in for that one is at 8 o clock in Emyvale on Wednesday evening. This is a great opportunity for these lads to take home some silverwear so all support will be needed, so come along to get behind the team as they look to take the spoils.
Reserves:
On Friday evening the Reserve campaign came to a close as we took on Aughnamullen in the Reserve Football League Division 2 Final. This was a tight encounter from start to finish with both sides swapping scores thrughout. At full time the slight edge was in favour of Aughnamullen who took home the spoils. The lads have plenty to show for their years work though, with a Championship trophy already on the table they can be proud of thier achievements and hopefully they can take this loss on board to help springboard them to greater things with the Senior Panel for the rest of the year.
U16s:
On Thursday evening the U16 team traveledl to Monaghan as they took on Monaghan Harps in the Championship Semi Final. This was a tough encounter right from the off with both sides working very hard. Unfortunately the lads werent fit to get the result needed as Harps advanced to the final. Hard luck lads keep the heads up!
U14s:
On Saturday morning our U14 team take on Latton in the division 2 league shield final. Throw in is at 1 o clock in Cremartin on Saturday. Come and show your support for the lads on Saturday as they look to take home the silverwear.
U12s:
Our U12  B team took on Clontibret on Saturday aftenoon in the Division 2B League Final. This was a very tough match played in wet conditions which made handling very difficult for both teams. The score was very tight at half time and Clontibret had the aid of the breeze in the second half, which they made full use of as they went on to take the spoils. Disappointed of course but these young lads can keep their heads held high, getting to a final in this division with nearly every player underage again next year is something to be very proud of and gives them great encouragement for the future.

Mini Fontenoys:
Mini Fontenoys continue this Saturday morning from 11-12 in Donaghmoyne, weather permitting. All children from the ages of 5-10 years old are welcome. Parents are asked to get involved and help out and coach our future stars.
Speedy Recovery:
The club would like to wish a speedy recovery to our Juvenile player James Finnegan from the injury he sustained in a match recently and we hope to see him back on the playing field as soon as possible.
Club Members Draw:
Any club members who want to be entered into the draw for the All Ireland Hurling and Football Final tickets are to contact Tina on 0877616769 asap.

Mouthguards:
Gum Shields have now become compulsory for both training and matches in the season ahead. It’s important all juvenile players and senior players have their mouthguard in place before entering the playing grounds. At Annual Congress in April 2012, a new rule was enacted that made it mandatory to use a mouthguard in all Gaelic football matches and training sessions from January 1st 2013 for all age grades up to and including minor. The rule will now come into effect at Under 21 and Adult level from January 1st 2014. Players will not be covered under the player injury scheme if they are not wearing a mouthguard.
Lucozade Sport Bottle Caps:
The Lucozade Sport Bottle Caps for the Donaghmoyne Club Crusade can be dropped into any of the 4 schools in the Parish, Mc Caugheys shop and also Lisdoonan Shop. Please Support.
