Reserves:
Last Wednesday evening saw our Reserve side in League Semi Final action as they took on Sean Mc Demotts at home. The lads fell behind early on but they rallied themselves to go on and take the spoils and qualify for this years league final.
Minors:                Our Minors completed their League campaign last Tuesday evening as the lads took on Scotstown away from home. Scotstown took control from the off and lead for most the game but a strong last quarter from Donaghmoyne saw them claw back the lead and the points were shared. On Tuesday evening gone by the lads faced St Tiarnachs in the Championship semi final, see next weeks notes for the result. Next Tuesday evening sees them take on Killany at home in the semi final of the league, throw in for that one is at 6.45. Please come along and show your support for the lads as they look to reach the league final.
U14s:
The u14 team have a league fixture away from home on Saturday morning as they take on Sean Mc Dermotts at 12 o clock.
U12s:
Our U12  A team took on Monaghan Harps at home on Monday evening in the Division 1A League Semi Final. On a wet slippery evening both these teams put on a fantastic display of football, which both teams can be very proud of. Unfortunately things didn’t go their way on the night and they lost out narrowly. Best of luck to Monaghan Harps in the final. These lads can hold their heads high after a very good year which has shown a big improvment and this defeat will hopefully bring them on to bigger and better things both as individuals and as a team. It doesn’t stop now though as our B team have still the semi final of their competition to play, training continues on Saturday morning at 10 o clock.

Mini Fontenoys:
Mini Fontenoys continue this Saturday morning from 11-12 in Donaghmoyne, weather permitting. All children from the ages of 5-10 years old are welcome. Parents are asked to get involved and help out and coach our future stars.

Hard luck Monaghan:
We would like to extended our commiserations to the Monaghan Seniors on their defeat in Croke Park in the All Ireland Quarter Final against Dublin last Saturday evening especially to our own Padraig Donaghy who represented the side.

Speedy Recovery:
The club would like to wish Paddy Keenan a speedy recovery from the illness he has picked up recently and hope to see him back on the terraces as soon as possible.

Recently Deceased:
The club would like to extend its sympathies to the family and friends of Owen Cunningham of Garrifly who died recently.

Mouthguards:
Gum Shields have now become compulsory for both training and matches in the season ahead. It’s important all juvenile players and senior players have their mouthguard in place before entering the playing grounds. At Annual Congress in April 2012, a new rule was enacted that made it mandatory to use a mouthguard in all Gaelic football matches and training sessions from January 1st 2013 for all age grades up to and including minor. The rule will now come into effect at Under 21 and Adult level from January 1st 2014. Players will not be covered under the player injury scheme if they are not wearing a mouthguard.

Lucozade Sport Bottle Caps:
The Lucozade Sport Bottle Caps for the Donaghmoyne Club Crusade can be dropped into any of the 4 schools in the Parish, Mc Caugheys shop and also Lisdoonan Shop. Please Support.
