Aghabog Notes

Result:

JFC: Aghabog 1-11 Scotstown 1-15

We exited this years championship last Sunday evening when we went down to Scotstown by 4 points. Trailing by 7 points early in the second half, the team fought back well, but unfortunately Scotstown held out for the victory.

Fixtures:

JFL: We were due to play Toome away last night, Wednesday. See result elsewhere.

We play Oram at home this Sunday 17th of August at 12.30pm.

Sympathy:

The club would like to extend our sympathy to the Connolly family, Tattenclave, on the death of Nancy Maguire, Monaghan.

Sunday August 24th.

Sports Day starting @ 1pm Races,strongest man,Fancy dress,Football Boys and Girls,Penalty Kick Senior and junior ,Crossbar Challenge,Horse Shoe and lots more.

Traditional Music Session @6pm.

Juveniles:

Under 16: Well done to our Under 16 team of Aghabog/Currin who beat Toome in the Championship last Thursday on a scoreline of 5-12 to 3-14. They will now meet Killeevan in the Championship semi final on Thursday 28th of August at 7pm in Scotshouse.

Ladies notes 14/08/14

Good Luck: to Caitlin Carolan and the county U/16 team who take on Tipperary in the All-Ireland semi-final this weekend, also to Sean Gavan who is part of their management team.

U14 championship: we take on Inniskeen this Monday at 7 in Inniskeen in the second round of the championship.

Congrats: To Jenny and Adian Keenan on the birth of their baby boy, Eoin.
