Good Luck: to Paudie and the Monaghan senior team this weekend against Kildare in Croke Park. Our U-12s will also play at Croke Park, when they take part in the half time juvenile match. Good luck to all involved. Tickets on sale in centra or on www.tickets.ie

Seniors: Subject to the Monaghan result this weekend, we are due to play at home to Clontibret next Wednesday at 7.45pm. Check twitter for latest news.

Reserves B: We have finished the reserve B season, consolidating our position in division 1A.

Reserves C: We lost at home to Blackhill last Wednesday, 1-9 to 2-11. Our next league match is away to Toome next Wednesday, 6th August at 8pm. We play in the C championship semi-final this Friday 1st August, away to Monaghan Harps at 7.30pm.

U-21: We were due to play our last match in the U-21 competition last Wednesday evening at home to Scotstown.

Minors: We were due to play in the division 2 championship last Tuesday evening with a home game against Toome. We revert to league action next Tuesday, 5th August, with an away match against Toome at 7.30pm.

U-16: We claimed a walkover to Clontibret last week. We are away to Monaghan Harps this Thursday, 31st July, at 7.30pm. Our U-16 championship is on Thursday 7th August away to Clontibret.

U-14: We lost at home to Inniskeen last Saturday 3-7 to 5-17. Our next match is at away to Scotstown on Saturday 16th August at 1.15pm.

U-12: We lost away to Latton last week, 1-5 to 3-21.

U-10: Training each Thursday evening between 7-8pm.

U-6 & 8s: Training each Thursday evening between 7-8pm. All welcome.

Lotto Jackpot now €8,800: There was no winner of last week jackpot prize of €8,700. The numbers drawn last week were: 4, 16, 22, 27. There was 1 match 3 winner receiving €100: Maureen Treanor-Mullinderg. Sellers Prize: Hurling club and Niall McCarron. Next week’s jackpot is €8,800. Check Team: Roisin’s. Club Shop/DVDs: The double DVD boxset of our All Ireland win is now available to purchase. Priced at €20, it includes the full All Ireland final as well as highlights of the matchesenroute to Croke Park. The DVD also carries interviews with players and supporters as well as footage from the homecoming. The DVDs were excellently produced by Lavery Photo and Video and is an essential item in every supporter’s DVD collection. The boxset can be purchased in the club shop. Club merchandise orders can be made to Eilish on 0877857680. The shop is open each Thursday between 7-8pm. Club shoulder hold all bags are now available to purchase at €15,

Hurling:
Seniors– We lost in the semi-finals of the SHC last Thursday to Inniskeen in Monaghan, 2-12 to 4-25. We now play in the shield final against Clontibret this Sunday at 1.30pm in Aughnamullen.This match will precede the senior hurling championship final between Castleblayney and Inniskeen. We revert back to league action on Thursday 7th August with a home game against Inniskeen.

 

U-16: We won at home to Castleblayney last week, 5-8 to 5-5.

 

U-14: We play at home to Carrickmacross on Monday, 11th August, at 7.30pm.

 

U-12: We beat Clontibret in the shield semi-final last Monday week, 0-12 to 0-5.

 

Ladies:

U10/12: Well done to our u12 team who took part in a blitz in Emyvale on Sunday last. Training continues Tuesday at 6.30 & Saturday at 11.30 in St Mellans
U14 – We’ll done to our U14 girls who took part in the annual Gloria Corrigan Blitz which was recently hosted by the Emyvale Ladies club. After wins against Sean’s, Emyvale B, and St Laurence’s from Kildare, in the group stages we qualified for the quarter final of the cup competition where we beat a very good Killeevan team. We then progressed to the semi final where we were beaten by very strong Emyvale A side. Considering the high quality of the 20 teams taking part in this blitz, our girls can be very proud of their efforts in reaching the last four of the cup competition. Team was Megan Markey, Aoife Mc Quillan, Megan Mc Quaid, Morgan Mc Kenna, Laura Mc Kenna, Colleen Mc Gee, Aoibhinn Treanor, Rachel Mc Meel.
Our next U14 game is on Monday 11th August at 7pm when we play away to Castleblaney in our opening championship game.

 

U16 – We’ll done to our U16 girls who got their league campaign back on track with a hard earned but we’ll deserved win against Tyholland last week on a scoreline of 7-12 to 5-9. Team was Laura Mc Kenna, Megan Mc Quaid, Niamh Fullen, Jane Mc Kenna, Meighan Mc Kenna, Ciara Treanor, Katie Murphy, Linda Mc Meel, Sinead Rafferty, Morgan Mc Kenna, Ellen Deery, Clodagh Mc Meel, Lauren Treanor, Colleen Treanor, Leona Mc Kenna, Emma Mc Aree, Aoife Mc Quillan, Megan Markey,
Our next U16 game is home to Doohamlet on Monday 4th August at 7pm.

Training for all U14/U16 girls continues on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7pm to 8pm and all girls are expected to attend.

Minors/Seniors: Our senior team take on Monaghan Harps on Friday 1st August at St Mellans.
