Good Luck: to Paudie and the Monaghan senior team who take on Donegal this Sunday in the Ulster Final.

U-10 John Treanor Memorial Tournament: takes place this Saturday in St. Mellans. All help greatly appreciated as over 20 clubs are expected to take part.

Seniors: We defeated Doohamlet at home on Sunday last, 3-12 to 0-9. Though Chrissy McKenna oopned the scoring in the 3rd munte, it was Doohamlet who made a greater impact on the scoreboard in the early stages, as they lead 0-5 to 0-3 after 16 minutes. All changed however in the 19th minute when Niall Coyle scored his first goal of the year. We added further points in the remainder of the half to leave the half time score: Gaeil Triucha 1-6 Doohamlet 0-6. It didn’t take much time for Niall Coyle to follow up with his second goal when he scored in the first minute of the second half to put 2 goals between the sides. Mark Counihan added a third goal 6 minutes later to put further distance between the sides. Points from substitutes Gary Todd and Paddy McKenna confirmed the 3-12 to 0-9 win. Our next match is in the SFL is away to Scotstown on Friday 25th July at 8pm.

Reserves B: We defeated Magheracloone last Wednesday 2-8 to 1-10.We were due to play at home to Scotsown last night, Wednesday.

Reserves C: Our next game is at home to Blackhill next Wednesday 23rd July at 8pm. Our C championship semi-final has been scheduled for Friday 1st August.

U-21: We lost away to Monaghan Harps last Friday 3-7 to 1-15. Our next match is at home to Emyvale this Friday at 8pm.

Minors:We were due to play away to St. Pats in the championship last Tuesday. If we won were victorious in that match, we will advance to play at home to Scostown next Tuesday 22nd July at 7.30pm. If St. Pats win, our next match is Tuesday 29th July.

Ulster Final Tickets: Tickets can be purchased through usual outlets such as Centra-Emyvale, McMahons-Scotstown, Leo Dalys-Aughnacloy and www.tickets.ie. Anyone who ordered tickets through KPJ can collect them in St. Mellans this Friday at 9pm.

U-16: We lost to Scostown 0-13to 2-9 a fortnight ago, before bouncing back with a 8-24 to 3-5 win over Corduff last week. Our next match is at home to Donaghmoyne this Thursday, 17th July, at 7.30pm. Our U-16 championship is on 7th August away to Clontibret.

U-14: We drew 4-14 each with Emyvale a fortnight ago. We were then defeated by Carrickmacross 2-14 to 7-17 and Aughnmullen last Saturday 4-9 to 5-12. Our next match is at home to Inniskeen on Saturday 26th July at 12pm.

U-12: We were beaten by Killanny 1-7 to 3-11 in our last match. Our next match is at away to Latton this Saturday 1.15pm.

U-10: Training each Thursday evening between 7-8pm.

U-6 & 8s: Training each Thursday evening between 7-8pm. All welcome.

Lotto Jackpot now €8,600: There was no winner of last week jackpot prize of €8,500. The numbers drawn last week were: 9, 13, 19, 20. Club Shop/DVDs: The double DVD boxset of our All Ireland win is now available to purchase. Priced at €20, it includes the full All Ireland final as well as highlights of the matchesenroute to Croke Park. The DVD also carries interviews with players and supporters as well as footage from the homecoming. The DVDs were excellently produced by Lavery Photo and Video and is an essential item in every supporter’s DVD collection. The boxset can be purchased in the club shop. Hurling:
Seniors– We lost at home to Castleblayney last Thursday. Our next match is away to Clontibret this Thursday, 17th July, at 8pm.

 

U-16– We lost away to Inniskeen last Monday. We were due to play away to Cootehill last Monday .

 

U-14– We play at home against Carrickmacross on Monday 11th August.

 

U-12– We lost away to Castleblayney  last Monday, 1-2 to 4-3. We were due to play away to Cootehill last Monday.

 

 

Ladies:

U10/U12: We played away to Scotstown Saturday last and came out on top with a score line of 4-1 to 3points. Well done on strong performance despite missing a few girls!

U14/16

U14’s – Our long awaited girls U14 county final against Carrickmacross is scheduled to go ahead this evening Thursday 17th July at 7pm in Drumhowan. Getting to this final has been a great achievement by this group of girls and they deserve all the support they can get, so why not come along and show these girls your appreciation by giving them your support.

U16’s – Our next girls U16 league game is at home to Tyholland on Monday next 21st July at 7pm. All support very welcome.

Minors/seniors

We played Donamoyne B at home on Saturday last and unfortunately did not come out as winners however we learned we have the perfect candidate for No.16 jersey!
