Lotto Results. The numbers drawn in the Club Lotto on Monday, 14th July were 4, 12, 20 and 28. The jackpot was not won this week and the Lucky Dip winners were Gavin Doogan, Tomiska,(Direct Debit), James Ward, Enagh, (Direct Debit), Frank Finnegan Donaghmoyne and Bradley Turner, c/o Blocks, Kingscourt. The next draw will take place in the clubrooms on Monday 21st July and the Jackpot will be 3,500 euro.

 

Ulster Final. Best wishes to Gavin Doogan and the other members of the Monaghan panel as they attempt to claim their second Ulster title in a row. Many club members will be in Clones on Sunday to cheer on the team to victory over Donegal.

 

Senior League. The Magheracloone team travelled to Latton on Sunday to face the home team in a crucial league encounter. Despite a strong second half performance from the visitors Latton held out for a three point victory to leave Magheracloone sitting in ninth place in the league. The team will be looking to up the performance in the remaining league and championship games to ensure that Magheracloone will remain in the senior league for the new season. Every game is crucial and the team will be hoping to topple league leaders, Ballybay, on Friday 25th and so claim two valuable points.

 

Under-21.  The Under-21 Division One league commenced on Friday evening last with a visit to Killanny. The team began the campaign with a victory on a score of 3-15 to 1-5 and will look forward to the encounter with Carrickmacross on this Friday 18th versus Carrickmacross in Inniskeen.

 

Minors.  The minor championship began on Tuesday 15th in Killanny with the winners due to meet the winners of the Cremartin/ Emyvale encounter on Tuesday 22nd July.

 

Under-16 News. Last week’s game versus Donaghmoyne was postponed due to a bereavement and will be played at a later date. Magheracloone will play Monaghan Harps in the next round on this Thursday, 17th at 7.30. p.m.

 

Under- 12.  Toome is the venue for Magheracloone’s next game which is fixed to throw-in at 12.00 noon on this Saturday, 19th.

 

Under 10.  All the players who participated in the recent county blitz really enjoyed the experience and gave their all for the club that day.

 

Remember that Magheracloone are hosting the Go Games on this Thursday evening beginning at 7.00 p.m. All players are reminded to be at the playing field by 6.45 at the latest.

 

All Under-10 players are reminded that the Truagh blitz will be held this Saturday 19th July. The bus will leave the Community Centre at 8.00 a.m. Players are reminded to bring a drink and packed lunch along with the all-important gum shield. The bus will return to the Centre at the conclusion of the competition and parents will receive a text message with the estimated time of arrival forty-five minutes beforehand.

 

 

.Boot Box

A boot box has been left in the home Juvenile dressing room. If you have any football boots (all sizes) which are no longer required please drop them in the box. Parents are welcome to   check out the boot box before going out to spend money on new boots.

The Magheracloone GAA Cúl Camp takes place from 21st July to 25th July 10.00am to 2:30pm. Attendance is open to primary school children aged 5 years to 12 years.
