Magheracloone Notes

Lotto Results. The numbers drawn in the Club Lotto on Monday, 7th July were 8, 14, 21 and 25. The jackpot was not won this week and the Lucky Dip winners were Feargal Monaghan, Rahans, (Direct Debit), Lisa and Sean Magee, Shercock, Ronan Lynch, Fran and Bob Henson, Shercock. The next draw will take place in the clubrooms on Monday 14th July and the Jackpot will be 3,400 euro.

 

Senior League. The Magheracloone team will travel to Latton on Sunday to face the home team in a crucial league encounter. Both teams are in the lower half of the table and a win would be very useful for Magheracloone in the efforts to improve the league standings. All support for this game is vital so you are encouraged to make the short trip to Latton to support the team. The game is timed for 2.00.p.m.

 

Under-21.  The Under-21 Division One league commences on Friday evening 11th with a visit to Killanny. The game commences at 7.30.p.m.

 

Minors.  The minor championship begins on Tuesday evening 15th in Killanny with the throw-in timed for 7.30. p.m. All support for these under-age team would be welcome in their quest to bring some silverware to the parish in 2014.

 
Under-8 News.
Three teams from the club attended a blitz last Saturday in Killanny.
Many thanks to   Killanny GFC for such a well- organised competition.
A challenge has been organised for Saturday the 12th of July in Drumgoon,
Co Cavan at 11:30. Everyone is asked to be at the Daybreak Filling Station in Shercock at 11am sharp.
Training will be at 7:30 each Wednesday for the foreseeable future.

 

Under-10 News.

The under-10 team are reminded about the upcoming blitz in Truagh on 19th July and the next series of Go Games in Cloghan on Saturday 12th July. This is an all county blitz and is billed as a Family Fun Day. It will run from10.00.a.m. to 1.00. p.m. Now that school is finished for the summer holidays training will be from 7.00 to 8.30.

 

 

 

Boot Box

A boot box has been left in the home Juvenile dressing room. If you have any football boots (all sizes) which are no longer required please drop them in the box. Parents are welcome to   check out the boot box before going out to spend money on new boots.

 

Don’t Miss Out On Our Kellogg’s GAA Cúl Camp

The Magheracloone GAA Cúl Camp takes place from 21st July to 25th July 10.00am to 2:30pm. Attendance is open to primary school children aged 5 years to 12 years. Cost for 1st child €55.00, 2nd child €45.00, 3rd and subsequent children €40.00. Each child receives a FREE Kelloggs GAA kit & backpack.
