Camogie News

Our senior camogs were in action against Clontibret in the Monaghan Development league last Wednesday evening in Pairc Grattan. The contest was fairly evenly matched for 20 minutes of the first half until Clontibret pushed ahead registering 1.03 without reply.

Inniskeen did rally in the second half but it wasn’t enough and were defeated on a 4.09 to 3.07 scoreline.

Next up is the return fixture against Castleblayney. Date for this fixture is to be confirmed.

Please keep Sunday 3rd August free as Inniskeen will host the Monaghan Camogie Blitz Competition.

Underage training  for u8/u10 and U13/U15 continues on Tuesday evenings in preparation for upcoming fixtures. Text message will be sent out with further information.

The club would like to extend its sincere gratitude to DG McArdle, Callenberg, Inniskeen for the kind sponsorship of a new set of Camogie jerseys for the senior team and to ACE Environmental, Kilkerley, Dundalk for their sponsorship of Polo Shirts for the girls. Go raibh mile maith agaibh.
