Universal Graphics JFC – Last Friday evening 11th July in Scotstown Drumhowan eventually overcame a determined Éire Óg side. At half time the score was all square Drumhowan 1 – 7 Éire Óg 0 -10. Drumhowan upped their performance in the 2nd half and after Jonathon Mc Mahon received his marching orders for a 2nd yellow card Drumhowan gained the upper hand to run out winners at the end Drumhowan 2 – 18 ÉireÓg 0 – 15

Mc Elvaneys Recycling MFL Div 1 –  St. Patricks took on the Harps last Tuesday 8th July The full time score was St. Patrick’s  4- 8 Harps 5 – 14

 

Maguire Transport MFC DIv 1 – On Tuesday last 15th July St. Patricks took on Truagh in the championship preliminary round. Please check twitter/facebook for a result. The winners of the game will take on Scotstown  on Tuesday 22nd July.

Gerry’s Prepared Veg U16 Div 1 Last Thursday 10th of July we took on the Harps away. The Fulll time score was Harps 7 – 11 St Patrick’s 0 – 10  Two games this week. Tonight ( Thursday 17th July ) they take on Clontibret away at 7.30pm while on Saturday they take on Corduff in Drumhowan at 2pm.

Gerry’s Prepared Veg U14 Div 3 -The U14s took on Corduff in Páirc Mhic Eoin last Tuesday 15th July. PLease check facebook and twitter for a result. The next game will be on Saturday 26th July when they take on Cremartin away from home.

 

Gerry’s Prepared Veg U12 Div 2A –  Next game for this team will be on this Saturday 19th July when they are way to near neighbours Aughnamullen at 12 noon.

 

Under 10 Go Games – We had a team in the blitz held in Cloghan on Saturday morning last. This was an all county blitz and we were in a section with Carrick, Donaghmoyne and Clontibret. Despite being short a number of players due to holidays our team performed well in all three games. Well done also to Patrick Duffy who was refeering at this blitz.

U8 / U10  Go Games –  There is a double blitz for both under 8 & 10 teams on this Friday night in Aughnamullen. All players should be there for 6.45pm and it will be over around 8.50pm. Again we appeal to all parents to come out and support the children.

World Cup Sweep – U8/10 – Congrats to Eanna Curran who had Germany and won the Monaghan Jersey and Ryan Duffy who got a pair of gloves for coming second. Next draw in 4 years time !

 

Congratulations to Colm Hanratty Corfad and Rosie Hughes Doohamlet who got married recently. Also to Lorraine Duffy, Corvoy who got married to Mickey Farnan in Tullycorbet last Saturday 12th July with a reception afterwards in the Nuremore Hotel. Finally congratulations to Kieran Mooney who recently got engaged to Colleen Callan .

 

Ulster Final – Good luck to the Monaghan Men’s Senior Team who take on Donegal in the Ulster Final on Sunday 20th July at 4pm in Clones​.
