Seniors:Our seniorsnext match is away to Castleblayney on the Friday, June 20th at 8pm.

Good Luck: to Shane Treanor and the Monaghan minors who play Tyrone in the Ulster championshipthis Saturday at 7pm in Armagh.

Reserves B: We lost away to Castleblayney in the semi-final of the O’Duffy Cup Championship last Friday, 2-6 to 2-19.  We were due to play away to Monaghan Harps on Wednesday 18th June. Our following game is after the holiday break in July.

Reserves C: We recorded a home win over Clones last Wednesday, 2-14 to 1-10. Our next game is after the holiday break.

Minors: We resume league and championship action in July.

U-16: The league has been put on hold during the exam period.

U-14: We defeated Monaghan Harps away last Thursday,4-12 to 3-10. We next play at home to Magheracloone on Thursday, 26th June, at 7.30pm.

U-12: Training for U-12 each Monday and Wednesday evening between 7-8pm. We beat Scotstown away last Saturday 3-7 to 2-5 in the 1st round of the league. We play at home to Finn Rua next Monday. Check with management for details.

U-10: Training each Thursday evening between 7-8pm.

U-6 & 8s: Training each Thursday evening between 7-8pm. All welcome. There is an U-8 go games blitz this Saturday 10am-12pm in Cloghan. Check with management for details.

Lotto Jackpot now €8,200: There was no winner of last week jackpot prize of €8,100. The numbers drawn last week were: 13, 14, 20, 22. There were 3 match 3 winners, each receiving €35: Caolin Meehan-Dernacoo, Charlie McKenna-Deravoy & Lynne McKenna-Deravoy. Sellers: Josie Brady & Niall McCarron. Next week’s jackpot is €8,200. Check Team: Gary’s. The lotto draw will take place at 10.30pm each Sunday night. All tickets must be submitted before 10.15 to ensure entry.

Scor 2014/2015: Anyone interested in taking part in Scor this incoming season, please contact Mickey Corrigan Cultural Officer on 0862516596. Gaeil Truicha compete in all three sections of the Scór Competition including: Spraoi Scór (Primary School), ScornaNog(Secondary School-under 17) and Senior Scor. There are 8 categories in each section including: Ceili Dancing, Solo Singing, Recitation, Ballad Group, Instrumental Group, Question Time, Leiru and Set Dancing. Club Shop/DVDs: The double DVD boxset of our All Ireland win is now available to purchase. Priced at €20, it includes the full All Ireland final as well as highlights of the matchesenroute to Croke Park. The DVD also carries interviews with players and supporters as well as footage from the homecoming. The DVDs were excellently produced by Lavery Photo and Video and is an essential item in every supporter’s DVD collection. The boxset can be purchased in the club shop. Club merchandise orders can be made to Eilish on 0877857680. The shop is open each Thursday between 7-8pm. Club shoulder hold all bags are now available to purchase at €15,

Hurling:
Seniors-We defeated Carrickmacross in the senior championship league series last Thursday, 1-19 to 0-10. We next play away to Inniskeen this Thursday at 8pm.

 

U-12- Our beat Clontibret last Monday in the league. We next play away to Inniskeen next Monday at 7.30pm.

 

U-16- We play away to Monaghan Harps next Monday at 7.30pm.

 

Ladies:

U10/12

Well done to our juvenile team who continued their winning streak against Tyholland Saturday last. They are due to play Aghnamullen home at 11.30 on Saturday.

 

U14/16

Well done to our U14 girls who completed the group stages of their league campaign with a great home win against a very strong Corduff team on a scoreline of 1-18 to 2-7 last week. Team and scorers were Siobhan Coyle, Meabh Mc Cluskey, Aoife Mc Quillan, Emma Mc Aree (0-1), Megan Markey, Megan Mc Quaid, Sarah Mc Meel, Laura Mc Kenna (1-4), Morgan Mc Kenna (0-7), Aoibhinn Treanor (0-3), Eabha Campbell, Colleen Mc Gee (0-2), Aoife Tierney, Clodagh Mc Meel (0-1), Tara Mc Meel, Ethna Boyle, Caoimhe Mc Caffrey. At the time of writing our U14 girls will have played Corduff again, for the second time in a week, as both teams were drawn to play each other in the league semi final earlier this week. Report of this game to follow in due course.

Our U16 girls will resume their league campaign after the exams with a home game to Monaghan Harps on Monday next 23rd June at 7pm. All support welcome.

Training for U14/U16 girls will continue every Thursday from 7pm to 8pm and now that the junior cert exams are over all players are expected to attend training.

 

Minors/seniors

Training continues tomorrow night at 7.45pm or the possibility of a challenge match. With 4 weeks to championship v emyvale we ask everyone to put in an effort to attend training.
