The numbers drawn in the Club Lotto on Monday 2nd June were 13, 17, 21 & 24.
The jackpot of €2700 was not won this week & the €50 Lucky Dip winners were:

Senior League

The Senior League continued last Saturday against Scotstown. Final Score Scotstown 3-10 Magheracloone 1-13 The next league outing is in Scotshouse on Saturday 21st June where we take on Currin at 7:00pm. All support would be very welcome.

 

Senior Championship

The next Championship match will be played on Saturday 9th August when we meet Latton with a scheduled time of 5:00pm

 

Reserves

The Reserves competing in Division 1A have finally made their mark on the league table with a fine victory over Latton on Wednesday last. Final score Magheracloone 6-14 Latton 1-8. Let us hope the winning ways continue when we travel to Monaghan to play the Harps on Wednesday 4th June at 8pm.

 

Minors

The Minors are now on a break for exams and their next match will be on Tuesday 8th July against Cremartin. This match is fixed for Corduff at 7:30pm

Training continues Tuesday 7pm-8pm

 

Under 16

The team are now on a break from competition for exams and will return against Truagh on Thursday 26th June.

 

Under 14

U-14’s travelled to Scotstown on Saturday last and had a very convincing win. A great all round team performance resulting in a final score Magheracloone 9-16 Scotstown 3-11

The next three games will switch to Thursday evenings. 5th June is a home game against Monaghan Harps with throw in time at 7:30pm. This promises to be a great game with Harps sitting just one place behind us on the league table. All support welcome.

 

Under 12

The spring league final against Aughnamullen which had been previously postponed was played on Tuesday 3rd June. Commiserations go to this young U12 side who despite putting in a brave show suffered a heavy defeat against a much stronger Aughnamullen side. Aughnamullen struck almost immediately and at the end of the first third we found ourselves trailing by 6 point having scored just a single point from Dylan Farrelly. In the final third our young lads were unrelenting and continued to push forward creating scoring chances but it was a tough task to quell Aughnamullen and despite points from David Mc Ardle, Rory Mc Mahon & Dylan Farrelly Aughnamullen were not to be tamed and they claimed the silverware. Final score Aughnamullen 0-12 Magheracloone 0-4

Training continues every Tuesday & Thursday 7pm to 8pm.

 

Under 10

Training continues every Thursday 7pm to 8pm. The next series of Under-10 Go Games will take place in Cloghan on Saturday, 14th June from 12.00 – 2.00pm.

 

Under 8

Challenge match for U8s in Kingscourt this Saturday 7th June 11am – 12 noon.

U8 training continues every Wednesday evening in Scoil Bhride from 7:30pm to 8:30pm please note change of time Pauric Dowdell from Monaghan coaching & development will join us to help out for the next two weeks.

 

Kellogg’s GAA Cúl Camp

The Magheracloone GAA Cúl Camp takes place from 21st July to 25th July 10.00am to 2:30pm. Attendance is open to primary school children aged 6 years to 13 years. Cost for 1st child €55.00, 2nd child €45.00, 3rd and subsequent children €40.00. Each child receives a FREE Kelloggs GAA kit & backpack. You may book online or contact Paul O’Connor, Monaghan County Training Grounds, Cloghan, Annyalla, Co. Monaghan.
