U12,s play Eire Og this satuday @ 12pm.

In a season laden with more obstacles than The Cube, our young U14 team welcomed Clontibret O Neills last Thursday to play out the formalities of a division 3 Championship semi-final.  Armed with a team that includes eight U12 players, Doohamlet sought to overturn a facile 49 point defeat to the same opponents a few weeks ago. Having trained extremely hard in the previous week, the boys played some excellent football and competed with courage and determination before eventually succumbing to the vastly superior physical strength of their opponents. That the losing margin was a “mere” 23 points reflects the continued improvement of this very young U14 team. Next up the U14,s take on Drumhowna tonite (thurs) @ 7.30pm. Please come out and support these young lads as they continue to navigate a path through a very challenging year.

Events coming up: Our Annual run will take place July 4th. More details to follow shortly. The Lorcan Duffy Memorial Golf Challenge will take place in September and also there will be a breakfast morning taking place in september.

Congratulations to Colin Walshe and the Monaghan Senior Team on a great win over Tyrone in the Ulster championship on Sunday. They now face Armagh in the semi final on June 28th.
