Doohamlet Notes
Seniors: We played Latton on Saturday last in what was a very important game. We opened the scoring with a point for Naill Connolly, further points by Barry Mc Ginn and Conor Marray kept us within 3 points of Latton and then in the 20th minute a perfectly timed run by Damien Ward got us level with a brillant goal. Latton responded with 3 points and a free from Paul Mc Ardle left the half time score at Doohamlet 1-6, Latton 1-10. The second half resumed and one we mite want to forget, in the space fo 15 minutes Latton turned the game on its head with 4 goals, it left us with a massive mountain to climb and with Marty Hughes and Jason Mc Elroy having to go off injured adn then Paul Mc Ardle hurting his shoulder it just want out nite, it finished on a scoreline of 1-10 to 5-15. Congratulations to our U12,s on winning the Mc Bennett cup in the Blackhill Sports Day.
U14,s lost to Cremartin on Sauturday in a very entertaining game. it was neck and neck going into the last quater but Cremartin found another gear and pulled away.
