Juvenile Cake Sale

We had a great turnout and great support for our juvenile cake sale held in the Community Centre last Saturday. Thanks to all who helped out on the day and for those who contributed in any way. The club is always grateful.

Juvenile Gear

The juvenile gear is currently being distributed to all teams at the minute. Please don’t panic, all teams should be wearing their outfits by the end of the week. Can parents make sure all gear is initialled with their child’s initials as we don’t want any confusion later in the year over who owns which top!

Ulster Championship

Congratulations to Conor, Dessie, Vinnie and Conor for their valuable contributions to the cause as Monaghan overcame Tyrone in the Ulster Championship on Sunday. Best wishes to our minor representatives, Francis Hughes and Stephen Mohan as Monaghan minors take on Tyrone on Saturday.

Hurling

The senior hurling championship continues this evening with an away game against Carrick.

Sympathy

Sympathy is extended to the Cassidy family on the death of Jim Cassidy on Monday last. Jim, a former Club President for many years, was a stalwart supporter of the club over his lifetime, and was one its first sponsors. He always had the welfare of our club at heart and was not afraid to show that at every available opportunity. A Clontibret man through and through. Ar dheis Dé go rabih a anam dílis.
