Seniors

The Seniors played a home game on Wednesday against Scotstown. A good performance on the Night. The game ended in a draw. A speedy Recovery to Edmund Lennon who sustained a facial Injury in the game. The also had an away game against Currin last Night Wednesday 7th May. Further details later. There is also an away game on Sunday 11th May against Truagh at 2.00pm.

Reserve Fixture

The Reserves played Drumhowan on Sunday 4th May at 2.00 in Reserve Championship O’Duffy Cup Preliminary Round. It was a very closely contested game with Good Performances from all with the full subs Bench being used on the day and each player making a valuable contribution to the win. The final score was Latton 5-6 Drumhowan 2-8.

Minor’s

The Minors had a tough home game on Tuesday 29th April 2014 against Corduff. They were unlucky to be beaten by point on Night. They played a game away against Castleblayney on Tuesday 6th -See Sports Sections for results.

U14

The U14’s recorded a home win against Donaghmoyne on Saturday 3RD with a score line of 6-18 TO 2-9.Training continues every Tuesday at 6.30.

U16

The U16 had an away win against Emerald Sarsfields winning 4-17 to 3-5 on Night.

U12

Both U12 teams play home fixtures this Saturday Against Castleblayney.

First Aid Course

The Club is running a 3 hour First Aid Course will take place in the Meeting Room on Tuesday May 13th 6.30pm to 9.30pm. This course is designed for Sports Coaches /trainers/others  wishing to be able to deal with minor sports injuries.

The numbers are limited to 12-15 people present at the course.

Latton Easy Riders Cycling Club

The members of this local Club are completing an epic 2 day Challenge on the June Bank Holiday Weekend 2014. They are undertaking a 2 day Cycle from Lattin (Co Tipperary) to Latton (Co Monaghan). The funds raised from this 268KM cycle will be in aid of Scoil Mhuire Latton & Latton O’Rahilly GAA Club. Sponsor Cards are in circulation and your support would be greatly appreciated. Monaghan County Team

The 2014 County Open Night will take place in Cloghan tomorrow Friday 9th May at 8pm. Everyone young and old will have the opportunity to meet county players from the various different codes.  They will get the chance to get players’ autographs and get their photo taken with them.Also present on the night will be a DJ and face painters. Wristbands, car stickers, autograph cards and mini flags will be given away. Why not bring your  pens and pencils to get the autographs.

Finally on the night Monaghan Coaching and Games Staff will be organising various mini games that children can test themselves against County​ Players
