Senior Championship

Clontibret 1-13, Harps 2-7. After a strong opening half we built up a good half-time lead only to let it slip in the second. We finished strongly however to win with the last three scores.

The next round of the senior championship is due to take place in August.

 

Senior League

We played Scotstown yesterday evening, result next week.

We play Currin on Saturday week, 31st May in Clontibret at 7pm.

 

Reserve League Division 1

We play the Harps at home this Sunday at 12.30pm.

On Wednesday, 4th June we are away to Truagh at 8pm.

 

O’Duffy Cup

We are fixed to Tyholland in the quarter final of the O’Duffy Cup on Sunday, 8th June at 3.30pm in Clontibret.

 

Reserve League Division 3

Clontibret 0-9, Clones 1-13. We lost out to Clones last week to a lively local outfit who made the best use of the wide open spaces of Clones pitch.

 

McKeown Cup

We take on Toome in this championship in Toome tomorrow evening, Friday, at 7.30pm.

 

U16 League

Clontibret 2-14, Truagh 1-18. We were very unlucky to lose out by the narrowest of margins against Truagh in a thrilling and high scoring encounter last week. Well done to the boys on a great performance.

We play Corduff this evening, Thursday, in Corduff at 7.30pm.

There will be a break following that for a number of weeks with the next match fixed for Thursday, 26th June at home to Donaghmoyne at 7.30pm.

 

U14s

Clontibret 3-21, Drumhowan 7-7. We secured victory by 2 points in a high-scoring game last Saturday. There were some excellent performances throughout the field and some great points taken.

On Saturday week, 31st May we are away to Corduff at 12pm.

Following that, we play Eire Og at home on Thursday, 19th June at 7.30pm.

The quarter final of the u14 championship will take place on Thursday, 5th June away to Drumhowan at 7.30pm.

 

U12 Spring League Final

Our u12 team is playing in the Spring League Finals this Saturday 24th May in Cloghan. We would ask all families to go along and support this young team.

 

U10 Boys

Training continues on Wednesday nights at 6.30pm on the field.

 

U8

We have a round of Go Games this Saturday in Castleblayney at 10am. All parents and players are to be at the Community Centre for 9am. Training has been going really well with everyone making great improvement.

 

U6s

Training continues this Friday from 6.30pm to 7.15pm at the football pitch.

 

Hurling

Development League: League final this evening, Thursday, in Aughnamullen v Inniskeen at 7.30pm.

Senior Hurling League: Next Thursday away to ‘Blayney at 7.45pm.
