Lotto Results. The numbers drawn in the Club Lotto on Tuesday 31st March were 8, 10, 20 and 28. The jackpot was not won this week and the Lucky Dip winners were Gary and Ian Martin, Carrickmacross, Marie Farrelly, Drumbracken, Dawn Babbington, Killygally and Patrick Breslin, Barley Hill. The next draw will take place in the clubrooms on Monday 7th April and the Jackpot will be 2,000 euro.

 

Monthly Meeting. The monthly meeting for April will be held on Tuesday evening, 8th at 8.30 p.m. in the clubrooms. All members are welcome to attend.

 

Club  Results. The Reserve game fixed for Latton last week-end was postponed and will be played at a later date.

The Under 12 team had a good win over Ballybay in the Spring League with the final score reading 0-13 to 0-8.

 

Fixtures. The Reserve League continues this Sunday, 6th April, with a game in Corduff versus Clontibret. The game is scheduled to start at 12.30 p.m.

The first round of the Minor League will be played on Tuesday next. It is an away game for Magheracloone and will be played in Doohamlet at 7.00 p.m.

The Under-16 competition begins on Thursday 3rd with a home game versus Truagh. This will be played in Drumconrath with the throw-in timed for 6.30 p.m.

The Under 14 team will have their first championship outing of the season on Saturday, 5th April, against Emyvale. The game will be played in Carrickmacross and will start at 3.00 p.m.

 

County Honours for David Kirk. Congratulations to club goalkeeper, David Kirk, who has represented his club and county with distinction in the recent Under-21 campaign. All in Magheracloone hope that David and his colleagues will help to bring further honour and glory to the club.

 

Juvenile Presentation Night.   The Juvenile presentation night will be held on Friday 11th April from 19:30 to 21:00.  Current All-Star, Conor McManus will be the guest speaker and he will be available for all to have a photo taken with him.
Music and light refreshment will be served. All are invited to come along and help
celebrate yet another successful juvenile season.
Easter Coaching Camp. Monaghan Coaching and Games Development will be running a 3 day Easter football camp from 22nd to 24th April in Magheracloone from 10am to 2:30pm.
Boys and girls from ages 5 to 12 are welcome. The cost is  €40 for the first child and  €35 euro per child thereafter. A free hoodie is given to all participants. Contact Declan Farrelly Coach and Development Officer for further information on

Under 8 Training. Under 8 training commenced on Wednesday 2nd April at 7 pm at Mullagherafferty National School. All Under- 8 players must be 6 years of age before 1st January 2014

Under -10 Training.  Training will take place in the training pitch on a Saturday at this time for the next few weeks. It will then be moving to a Thursday evening from 7pm – 8pm in Scoil Bhride. Players and parents will be notified about the change closer to the time. It is compulsory that every child has a gum shield.

 

Club Sympathy. The chairman and all the club members wish to extend sympathy to the club members who have suffered bereavements in recent days. Condolences to the Shannon family on the death of  Rita Barrins, Sligo, to Pat Rooney and family on the death of Annie Rooney, Woodlands and to the Meegan family, Mullinclavin on the death of Rosaleen Meegan.

Brendan McCahey. Congratulations and best wishes to Brendan as he journeys onwards to final glory. All support is needed and is much appreciated.
