Seniors

The senior team travel to Monaghan Harps on Saturday evening to take on the host club in the S.F.L. Throw in is at 7.00 p.m. Then on Wednesday we are due to travel to Scotstown for a 7.15 p.m. throw-in. Please note the different start times.

Reserve League

Our reserve team continued their  campaign against Clones on Saturday evening last and went down on a score line of 3-9 to 0-6. This teams next official fixture is a home game against Toome on Wednesday 25th April.

Youth affairs

U 14’s. St Tiarnach Sarsfield’s played their second game on Saturday last and had a super win over Toome on a score line of 3-8 to 3-4, with Conor Smyth scoring a goal and two points.

 

N.F.L.

Congratulations to Monaghan and especially our two representatives, Dick and Jack,  who have secured promotion to Division One of the N.F.L. They now play Donegal in the divisional final in Croke Park on Sunday 27th April.

Ladies GAA

Monaghan ladies suffered defeat to Mayo at the weekend but it didnt matter as they had already qualified for the playoffs. Well done to Laura who was Monaghan’s top scorer with 4 points. We wish her and Ellen the best of luck in the semi- final against Dublin.

Rose of Tralee

A big congratulations to Sonia Casey on her success in the Rose of Tralee pageant at the weekend. Good to see her accordian skills from the St Enda’s Youth Band being put to good use. Sonia was representing Scanbitz and this time Daniel was navigating not driving. Well done to all, from Currin G.F.C.

Developement Committee

The work on the dressing rooms is currently on schedule, and thanks to all players and mentors who have been very accomodating and understanding during this time.
