Shalotto

There was no winner of the Shalotto held in the Social Club on the 13^th April 2014.  Numbers Drawn were: 6-15-23-27.  Lucky Dip Winners: Paula O’Hagan, Keady, Paddy Carragher, Tattyreagh Nth, Barry & Lorraine Boylan, C/o Syl Mulligan, MC Tasson and Andrea McElroy, Doohamlet.  This weekend’s Jackpot is €1,800 and our draw will take place in Atkinson’s Shamrock Bar on Sunday evening next. You may join the Annual Shalotto Scheme by contacting any member of the Club Committee.

PLEASE NOTE: ALL Shalotto tickets must be handed in by 9.30 p.m. every Sunday evening to ensure that they go into the draw.

O’Neill Shamrocks U-10s and U-12s play Truagh this Saturday in Truagh at 11.00 a.m.

 

INTERMEDIATE LEAGUE

We travelled to Clones last Saturday evening where we were defeated by the home team on a scoreline of Cremartin 0-13 Clones 1-13.  Team and scores: Damien Lavelle, Josh McWilliams, Patrick McGuigan, Fergal Mulligan, Shaun Buckley, Declan Farrell, Kevin Atkinson (0-2), Niall Flanagan (0-3), Jonathan McGuigan (0-1), Conor Mulligan (0-1), Ronan Burke (0-1), Declan Mulligan, Ryan McVicar (0-1), Mark Magee and Patrick McNally (0-2).  Subs: Kevin McVicar (0-2), Cathal Atkinson, Mark Gormley, Kevin Brennan and Ryan Carragher.

 

U-8s and U-10s

Our U-8’s and U-10’s, sponsored by Flanagan Foods, have their first outing of the season this Saturday in a double blitz in Monaghan Harps at 10.00 am.  A text will be sent out confirming details.

 

U-12s

Our U-12s, sponsored by Shorts Butchers, had a good win over Ballybay on Saturday last with everyone putting in good performances.  This team is doing very well winning three out of three games so far.  Next game is away to Drumhowan on 26^th April at 12pm.

 

U-14s

The U-14’s, sponsored by Gerry’s Takeaway, beat Corduff last weekend and play Clontibret at home this coming Saturday at 12pm.

 

U-16s

Our U-16’s, sponsored by CB Flooring,  had a good start to their season coming out on top over Latton on Thursday evening last.  Next game is tonight away to Clones.

 

The Winter training sessions are now finished and the outdoor training will start shortly.  The Juvenile Committee would like to thank all the parents who helped out throughout the winter months and helped make this programme a great success.

 

Congratulations: A big congratulations to Barry Kerr who received his All Star award last Friday night.  Barry plays a pivotal role in our U16 and our Minor team and his award is truly well deserved.

 

FUNDRAISING DRAW

Cremartin GAA’s Fundraising Draw will take place in Cremartin Social Club on Saturday 28^th June 2014 with a total of €8,000 to be won!  1^st Prize €6,000; 2^nd Prize €1,000; plus 10 prizes of €100.  Tickets €20 each or 3 for €50.00.  Tickets are available now from all Committee Members.  Thank you for your support.

Ulster Minor Football Shield Semi Finals

Good luck to Kevin McVicar, Barry Kerr and the Monaghan Minor Football team who play Antrim in the Ulster Minor Shield Semi Final this Saturday 19^th April in Ahoghill at 12.00 noon.

Lisnagrieve Fire Appeal.

The Committee organising the Lisnagrieve Fire Appeal are at present carrying out a house to house collection to raise funds for this worthy cause.  Anyone who is in a position to help in anyway would be most welcome.  Our next meeting is scheduled for 9pm on Wednesday 23^rd April 2014 in Lisnagrieve Hall.
