This coming Thursday (13^th of March), there will be two workshops in Sean McDermotts and the Patrician High School, targeting club u10 – 12 coaches. The workshop in Threemilehouse runs between 7-9 while the workshop in the Patrician is between 7.30-9.30. It will cover a range of topics such as Long Term Player Pathway, Warm Up’s, Games & Tactical Development and Technical Skill Development through the Whole-Part-Whole training method. All coaches who work with these particular age groups are invited to attend the workshop.

Last Thursday night the 6^th of March, in both Sean McDermotts, Threemilehouse and the Patrician High School in Carrickmacross, Monaghan Coaching & Games ran a coaching workshop which targeted club coaches in the u6-8 age group.

The workshop focused on a number of different area’s such as the Player Pathway structures for this particular age group, the key attributes a coach should have and how a coach should plan and deliver a successful coaching session which uses the key coaching points on how to coach a particular skill or game.

Each coach that attended the workshop received a hand-out, which contained a wide range of information that the coaches can use throughout the year.
