Doohamlet Notes

Senior League: Our seniors made the short journey to Ballybay on sunday to get their season of to a start, unfortunately it was not the start we wanted. Playing against a very strong wind in the first half we created plenty of chances but just couldnt get the scores on the board. Going in at half time 5 points down we knew we had a good chance to get back into the game with the aid of the wind. Points by Barry Mc Ginn and Conor Marray kept us within touching distance and then a goal by Jamie Walshe put 3 points in it and made it all to play for. Unfortunatley with the dismissal of Paul Mc Ardle in the first half it was always going to test the fitness of Doohamlet against a very young Ballybay team. It finsihed of on a score line of Doohamlet 1-7, Ballybay 2-13

Fixtures: The reserves are in action this weekend against Corduff on Saturday at 5pm in Corduff.

U14’s lost to Cremartin on Saturday in an entertaining game. With a very young team they put in a good performance.

Training continues for U12’s, U14’s & U16’s Mondays & Thursdays 5.45pm-7pm.
