Doohamlet Notes
Reserve League: Our reserves lost out narrowly by 2 pts on sunday to Donaghmoyne. With Doohamlet with a very weakened team due to injury and work commitments they scraped to get a team and gave of fine performance of passion, team play and some fine scores. A man of the match performance bu MJ O Conor in gaols with 2 penalty saves and a number of other fine saves always kept Doohamlet in touch. In the end we ran out of steam due to Matter Byren and Jamie Walshe going of injured, as we had no subs we had to finish the game with 11 men. Credit due to Jo-Jo for making the effort and putting on a jersey and helping his teamand club out. We would like to wish Mattew Byrne a speedy recovery.
Fixutes: Our senior team will start of their season with an away game to Ballybay this sunday at 2pm.
Presentation evening for U12,s, U14,s, U16,s and minors this sunday evening in Doohamlet Hall at 4pm. Please come and support these teams as they put in a massive effort last year and and the future of the club. Colin Walshe and Conor Mc Manus will be presenting the medals on the nite.
Under 14,s are out in action this Saturday with an away game to Cremartin at 12pm.
Under 12,s lost to Cremartin on Satuday.
