Seniors

The senior team had a challenge match on Friday night last in Lisnaskea. We would like to thank them for their hospitality. Despite being short in numbers there  were some excellent performances in what was a good run out.

Reserve League

Our reserve team began their campaign against Truagh on Sunday last. They went down on a score line of 5 – 11 to 1 – 11.

Youth affairs

Juvenile Registration will take  on Tuesday 11th March in Scotshouse Community Centre from 7pm to 8pm. If you cannot make this please contact Fintan McPhillips to register your child with the club. Vetting forms will also be available on the night for coaches and helpers to complete.

Child Protection

The Club has arranged with the County Board for a Child Protection Course to be held in Scotshouse Community Centre on Wednesday 12th March from 7pm to 10pm. While the course is recommended for all interested parties. It is obligatory for all club personnel that will be in contact with juveniles. It is recommended that the course be undertaken at least every three years. For details contact Fintan or Patricia.

Juvenile Training

Under 12 training commenced at the weekend with a very good turnout. The day and venue have changed to each Wednesday from 6.30pm to 7.30pm and it will be held in the Canon’s Field, on the Roslea Road, Clones. Notification of commencement of training for the other age levels will follow in due course.

N.F.L.

Monaghan who were beaten by Donegal last Sunday have the opportunity to get ’back on track’ against Louth in Clones on Sunday next in Clones. Throw in as usual is at 2.00 p.m.  Our ladies continue to set the pace in their division.

Developement Committee

We are delighted to announce that work is beginning on the dressing rooms and while there  will be some inevitable disruption , we are assured that this will be kept to a minimum. Well done to our developement committee for their work so far.

Celebration Night

Our celebration function takes place on Saturday night next in the Community Centre with proceedings getting underway at 8.00 p.m. with the presentations to our successfull youth teams. This will be followed by the buffet and then the adult presentations. We hope to see you all there. It is not often that we  have so much to celebrate, at underage levels, at senior, club and county, ladies and men.
