Lotto

The numbers drawn in the Club Lotto on Monday 17th February

were  1, 22, 25 and 27.

The jackpot was not won this week and the Lucky Dip winners of €50 were:

The next draw will take place in the clubrooms on Monday 24th February and the Jackpot will be 1,400 euro.

Seniors

The Senior Football League is due to start on the weekend of March 22nd /23rd , with the reserve leagues to begin early next month.

Juvenile Registration Night

Don’t forget that Friday 21st February is Registration Night for 2014. Members of the committee and team mentors will be present to register the players for the various age groups that night.

Allianz Football League 2014

The Allianz Football League continues on Sunday 2nd March in Letterkenny at 2.00pm. The opponents this time are Donegal. This year anyone who buys a ticket in the days running up to the game can get it for €10. The match day price will be €15. Tickets can be bought at any Centra or Super Value Store or at www.tickets.ie  Seasons tickets can still be bought at www.gaa.ie/seasonticket at a cost €85. Those who buy a season ticket can also purchase Club + for an extra €50. This gives the holder free entry into all Club Championship Games in Monaghan.

Foundation Course

A Foundation course is being held in Magheracloone Community Centre. This will be split over two evenings 26th February and 5th March 7pm to 10pm.

New  Rules

As most of you are aware the compulsory wearing of mouthguards in all grades from underage up to and including Senior for Gaelic football matches and practice sessions is now in practice. The move to make the wearing of mouthguards obligatory reiterates the Association’s long-term commitment to player welfare. NO MOUTHGUARD? NO GAME!!  Players will not be covered under the player injury scheme if they are not wearing a mouthguard. All players and mentors are asked to take note. The new playing rules are also now in effect

Football Holiday Break

The closed period for football this year is from the 25th June until the 7th July.
