Committee

Our monthly meeting was held last night 26th February  due to the proximity of the Celebration Night, which is to  be held in the Community Centre in Scotshouse on Saturday night, 8th March. Music will be by Midnight Cowboy. Tickets are available from players and committee members.

Ladies NFL.

Monaghan ladies had a great draw with Dublin on Sunday last. With the new management giving all panel members an opportunity to stake a place on the permanent panel, this was a very good result.

Club National Draw.

Tickets are currently on sale from players and members for this draw which will take place on St Patricks Day. Tickets are €10 each.

 Seniors

Our neighbours Killevan grabbed the bragging rights over us at the weekend when they prevailed in the final of the Dan Thompson Memorial tournament on Sunday last, after extra time. However this was a good run out for everyone so early in the season. It was great to see some new as well as old faces take the field.

Youth Affairs

U12’s  training will commence this Saturday the 1st March at 10.00 a.m. in Scotshouse. Any one wishing to help or be part of the management team should get in touch with Kieran Kearns at 0870981608 or attend on Saturday morning. Players remember to bring gum shields!

Aogan O Fearghaill

Currin G.F.C. is delighted to congratulate Aogan O Fearghaill on his election as Uachtarain-Tofa, Cumann Luthchleas Gael. Aogan hails from the Drumgoon club which is ‘just up the road’ in Co Cavan.  We in Currin have an excellent relationship with the Drumgoon club, not least that we have provided them with three of their recent senior team managers. This is a huge honour for Aogan and his family, his club, his community and his county.
