Celebration Night.

Our presentation and celebration night will be held in the Community Centre in Scotshouse on Saturday night, 8th March. N.F.L.

Monaghan continued their NFL  campaign with a facile win over Meath on Sunday last in Clones. The game was effectively over at half time with Monaghan having established a 12 point lead. Their ability to score was the key to this win with Jack once again getting some super scores. Donegal next in three weeks will be a good test and a game to look forward to.

Ladies NFL.

Monaghan ladies also had a great win on Sunday last. Along with the Mc Nally girls our own Laura Boylan starred, scoring the opening goal and getting a couple of points to contribute significantly in this first win under the new management. Rumour has it that the Boylan family, now in a smoke free zone, are in line to replace the Mc Nally family on ‘Ireland Fittest Family’!!

Club National Draw.

Tickets are currently on sale from players and members for this great draw.  Tickets are only €10 each. Draw will take place on St Patricks Day.

Mrs Katie Kiely, R.I.P.,

It was with sincere sadness that we learned of the death of Mrs Katie Kiely, Lisnageer, Co. Cavan. Katie was mother of Carmel Brady and grandmother of Sean and Ciaran who are playing members of our club. Currin G.F.C. extend our sympathy to them and to all their extended family members and friends. Go ndéana Dia trócaire ar a anam uasal.
