Monaghan began their N.F.L division 2 campaign on Sunday last, in Newry, against Down. A draw was the final result, with Jack Mc Carron starring, scoring seven points, five from play. It’s Meath next in Clones on Sunday and don’t forget that tickets bought prior to the game can be bought for €10. Match day price will be €15. Tickets can be bought at any Centra or Super Valu Store or at www.tickets.ie . The word is that only one other league game will be played there this year.
