Shalotto
There was no winner of the Shalotto held in Atkinson’s Shamrock Bar on the 9th February 2014. Numbers Drawn were: 5-10-15-28. Lucky Dip Winners: Danielle Murphy, Lorraine McGeough, Dermot Brennan, Brenda Rafferty, Keady and Terence McNallly. The Jackpot stands at €7,000 and this weekend’s draw will take place in the Social Club on Sunday evening next. You may join the Annual Shalotto Scheme by contacting any member of the Club Committee.
PLEASE NOTE: ALL Shalotto tickets must be handed in by 9.30 p.m. every Sunday evening to ensure that they go into the draw.

Mouthguards
Important: Please Note that following the GAA’s Annual Congress in April 2012 a new rule was enacted that made it mandatory to use a mouthguard in all Gaelic football matches and training sessions from January 1st 2014. It is important that all players comply with this new regulation and are prepared for their first training session of the new season.
MEMBERSHIP/REGISTRATION
Our Club registration evening took place last Sunday evening for both Juveniles and Adults where all Club Members, Players and Parents were able to sign up for the new season and see what divisions their teams were in and who their coaches are etc. Anyone who was unable to attend our registration evening and has yet to pay their membership can do so by contacting Seamus Eccles or Brendan Mooney.
We are requesting that all membership fees are paid by 28th February 2014. We are requesting that all new and existing club members acknowledge this deadline.
It is imperative that ALL Players update their membership before the beginning of the season.
Membership Fees are as follows: Adults – €40, Minors – €20, and for a family – €75.00 (family = two adults and two children under 16. Any subsequent children €5).
FUNDRAISING DRAW
Cremartin GAA’s Fundraising Draw will take place in Cremartin Social Club on Saturday 28th June 2014 with a total of €8,000 to be won! 1st Prize €6,000; 2nd Prize €1,000; plus 10 prizes of €100. Tickets €20 each or 3 for €50.00. Tickets are available now from all Committee Members. Thank you for your support. Your Club, Your Future!!
U-21 SHAMROCK CUP
We travelled to Corrigan Park in Belfast last Saturday where Monaghan U-21s took on Antrim U-21s in the second round of the Shamrock Cup. Antrim ran out the eventual winners on a scoreline of Monaghan 1-11 Antrim 2-10. See Match Report elsewhere. JUVENILE NEWS
U-10 Indoor Football Tournament
Our U-10’s had their first official outing last weekend at the U-10 Indoor Football Tournament in Ballybay Recreation Centre and it turned out to be a very enjoyable, quick paced and action filled afternoon. They are back again this coming Saturday and every Saturday for the next three weeks. A text will be sent to all Parents regarding times. A big thank you to all the Players and to the Parents who helped out on the day.
Coaching Courses
There are numerous Coaching Courses coming up in the next few weeks that may be of interest to our Coaches and all are free e.g. 15 Activate Warm Up on Wed 19th Feb- Indoor Session in CREMARTIN GAA Club, to be delivered by Roger Keenan & Tony Scullion. 7:30pm – 9pm FREE OF CHARGE.
Back to basic’s for U16 to Senior Players on Monday 24th Feb in Cloghan. Outdoor session, to be delivered by Tony Scullion. 7:30pm – 9pm.FREE OF CHARGE

Congratulations: On behalf of Cremartin Shamrocks GAA we would like to congratulate Truagh Gaels on becoming the new All Ireland Intermediate Club Champions after their brilliant victory last Sunday in Croke Park. Well done to all involved in this great achievement!
