Membership

Players and members alike are reminded to pay their annual €20 membership fee to Tommy Greenan or any club officer as soon as possible. All players should be paid up before the commencement of training.

Pitches

Team managers and mentors at all levels in all codes are to be complimented for their cooperation in staying off the pitches during the current wet weather. Hopefully we will see a change in the near future and continued patience is asked for to keep usage to an absolute minimum so as to avoid surface damage, which takes a long time to recover.

Mouthguards

Gum shields have now become compulsory for both training and matches for all players in the coming season. It is important that all players both juvenile and adult have their mouth guard in place before entering the playing area. The ruling from Annual Congress 2012 which made the use of mouth guards mandatory at Juvenile and Minor level last year has now come into effect for Under 21 and all Adult grades from Jan 1^st 2014. All players should note that they will not be covered for dental injuries under the Player Injury Scheme if they are not wearing a mouth guard either during training or matches.
