Sellers Prize: €30 each to Sean Murphy and Seamus McElwain. Next Draw on Saturday 25th January 2014.

Up Coming Fixtures: The McKenna Cup Competition starts on Sunday 5th January where Monaghan are at home to Derry on Sunday in Clones at 2pm. There next game will be Sunday 12th January at home to St Mary’s Belfast and the final group game away to Fermanagh in Brewster Park on Wednesday 15th January.

Mouthguards: The Gum Shields become compulsory for both training and matches in the season ahead. It’s important all juvenile players and senior players from the men and ladies teams have their mouthguard in place before entering the playing grounds. At Annual Congress in April 2012, a new rule was enacted that made it mandatory to use a mouthguard in all Gaelic football matches and training sessions from January 1st 2013 for all age grades up to and including minor. The rule will now come into effect at Under 21 and Adult level from January 1st 2014. Players will not be covered under the player injury scheme if they are not wearing a mouthguard.

Track: The lights on the track at Kilmore will be lit every evening from 5:30pm until 9:30pm for any runners/walkers wishing to use the facility.

DVD: The 2013 County Final DVD was a great sale over the Christmas and there are still some in stock if you wish to avail of one. Please contact Eugene McKenna on 086-8328499 or Kevin Connolly on 0877422519.

Welcome Home: It was good to see a few Scotstown Gaels home from overseas for the festive season and enjoying themselves with their families. We wish them a Happy New Year and safe travelling on their return.

Sympathy: The Club would like to express deepest sympathy to the family, relatives & friends who had bereavements recently, the late Nan Treanor (Crush), Dundain, Emyvale; Jimmy McGuinness, Toneystacken; Bridget McKenna, Tyholland; George Mc Carron, Louth; Ian McGuinness, Latton and the late Peter McKenna, USA & formerly Greagh. May They Rest in Peace.
