Operation Transformation – Good luck to Mickey McBride who has bravely volunteered as LEADER for the next 8 weeks. Walking continues every Monday and Thursday at 7pm and every Saturday at 9am. New members always welcome.

Mouthguards – The GAA recently announced details of the forthcoming national roll-out of the compulsory wearing of mouthguards for all adults for Gaelic football matches and practice sessions from 1st January, 2014. In addition, from 1st January, 2014, this rule will apply to all players at all age grades.

Juvenile Meeting – We had our Juvenile Meeting on Friday last – the following is a list of the coaches for each of the age groups – U-6, 8, 10 – Frankie Neeson, Eddie Johnston, James Croarkin, Mike Hamill, U-12 – To be confirmed – U-14 – Dan Toal, Brendan McMahon, Seamus Reilly, U-16 – Raymond Leonard, Gerry Reilly, Colin Casey. A juvenile registration morning will take place before the football season commences and a presentation night will be held shortly for all our successful juvenile teams from 2013.

Membership – membership rates for 2014 will remain unchanged at €20 and can be paid to Enda McCluskey. We would encourage existing club members to renew their subscriptions as soon as possible and we would sincerely welcome any newcomers wishing to join.
