Congratulations to John Holland who announced his engagement to Ciara McKenna on Christmas day. We wish them both the very best of what life has to offer and a very happy future together.

Membership rates for 2014 will remain unchanged at €10 for ordinary members (Family €25 – Adult Player €20 – Juvenile €5) and can be paid to Tom Kelly or any executive member. We would encourage existing club members to renew their subscriptions as soon as possible and we would sincerely welcome any newcomers wishing to join.

Congratulations to Declan ‘red’ Flanagan on his re-election as PRO for the London County team, Declan has been a great supporter of the club over the years and never misses an Ulster Final. We wish him continued success in his role and look forward to seeing him back home very soon.

National League Season Tickets and individual match tickets are now on sale in SuperValu, an ideal gift as we prepare ourselves for Division 2. Dr.McKenna Cup tickets are available too.

‘Off the Booze and On the Ball’ was launched in Croke Park recently. This fun challenge with a healthy twist invites participants to abstain from alcohol for the month of January and in doing so seek sponsorship to go towards our GAA club. Participants are also encouraged to engage in some new exercises that help them reach their recommended weekly activity levels during the month, and hopefully beyond. Sincere Sympathy it was with great sadness and heavy hearts that we learned of the passing of Geraldine ‘Jog’ McCabe sister to Mary Cunningham, aunt to Paula and Declan. Geraldine was the Clones ladies number one fan and mascot to the ladies team for the most historic victory in Clones history when we won the Ulster ladies Championship title. Ar dheis De go raibh a hanam dilis.

The Yearly Lotto has been a very good source of revenue for the club which is much appreciated, and it’s great to see so many former club members both here at home and across the globe still supporting the club this way.
