Monaghan Harps Lotto: Numbers 2, 8, 10 and 25. Jackpot of €2,600 not won. Draw: Sportsperson’s Dream tickets can still be purchased online to get your name in the draw for some amazing prizes – see link on our club website. Sincere thanks go to everyone who has bought or sold tickets for the draw, which will take place at the end of this month.

 

AGM: Our Annual General Meeting will take place on Friday, November 29.

 

Coaching courses: The second Monaghan coaching conference will take place in Carrickmacross next Saturday, November 23, while there are also coaching courses coming up at the end of this month and the start of December.

 

Gala banquet: Monaghan GAA are staging a Gala Banquet in the Hillgrove Hotel tomorrow (Friday, November 15) to honour this year’s Ulster SFC and MFC winners and the Ulster-winning team of 1988. Contact Lorcan McAdam or Dermot Brannigan if you wish to attend.

 

Cumann na mBunscol: Congratulations to the St. Mary’s Boys School team on their recent Frank McGinn Cup win, particularly the many young Harps players who were involved.

 

Sympathy: All at the club offer deepest sympathy to the Forde family on the death of Seán Forde and to Brian Lenehan and family on the death of his father, Paddy. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a n-anamacha.

 

U-14: The club’s Under-14 football and hurling management would like to thank parents of this year’s teams for the wonderful presentation night afforded to them last Saturday. Michael, Thomas, Ciarán and Jim send their appreciation to all involved.

 

Scór: The Scór na nÓg semi-finals take place next weekend, when the club will be hoping to build on the recent Spraoi Scór success.

 

Congratulations: To Monaghan duo Colin Walshe and Conor McManus on their All-Star awards and the four Monaghan ladies who also won All-Stars last weekend.

 

Ladies: The Division One Reserve League Final v Donaghmoyne has not been fixed. Training continues on Tuesday at 7pm & Friday at 6.30pm.

 

In the Minor Division One League Semi-Final we played away to Emyvale last Sunday. The result was Harps 3-7 Emyvale 4-8. The team was Maria Ferguson (Capt.), Claire Duffy, Hannah Clerkin, Tara Reilly, Éadaoin Maguire, Shauna Hetherington, Niamh Tibby, Eimear O’Rourke (2-0), Muireann O’Rourke, Aisling Ferguson (1-1), Emma Clerkin (0-6), Aoife Corrigan, Emma Veale, Carla Doherty and Niamh Corrigan.

The ladies club extends their deepest sympathies to Dearbhla Lenehan and the entire Lenehan family on the recent passing of Dearbhla’s grandfather, Patrick (Paddy) Lenehan.
