Seniors: Our competitive year came to an end last Sunday, when the seniors fell to a 0-18 to 1-11 defeat at home to Magheracloone in the SFL semi-final. Our lads made a promising start, with Neil McAdam converting a penalty after just one minute, but Magheracloone kicked the next three points to draw level. It was almost point-for-point for the rest of the first half, with Dónal Hahessy (three), Nicholas Treanor (two) and Shane Smyth sending us in with a narrow 1-6 to 0-8 lead. Points by Nicholas, Dean Fanning and Fearghal McMahon kept us in touch for long spells of the second half and Nicholas converted a brace of frees to leave us a point up inside the last ten minutes, but Magheracloone hit the last five points to advance to the final.

Team and scorers: Mark Hughes; Rónán Garvey, Aodhán Óg McAnespie, Niall Hahessy; Kevin Loughran, Neil McAdam (1-0, pen), Michael Galligan; Peter Coyle, Gary White (Capt.); Paul Rushe, Dónal Hahessy (0-3, 1f), Shane Coyle; Nicholas Treanor (0-5, 4f), Shane Smyth (0-1), Dean Fanning (0-1).
