Last week Ann McKenna took the Anglo Celt Cup and the Fr. Murray Cup around the following schools; Knockconnan NS, Edenmore NS, Scoil Mhuire Rockcorry, St Louis’ Girls School Monaghan, Garron NS, Knockatallon NS and Corcaghan NS.

There was great excitement and celebration in all the schools with pupils, teachers and parents all delighted to get the chance to take their photo and hold the cups.

Between now and Christmas Monaghan Coaching and Games Development staff will be visiting every Primary School in county Monaghan with the Ulster Senior and Minor trophies that both county teams won over the summer holidays.
