U13 Football 7-a-side Floodlight Blitz held in Cloghan

Last night saw 19 clubs take part in an U13 football 7 a side blitz in Cloghan. In what proved to be an excellent night for football weather wise the action on the field was just as good. Each club that participated on the night played a minimum of 4 games (group of 4 played 3 games). Clubs that took part in the blitz were divided into cup & shield competitions. There was 2 groups for the shield & 2 groups for the cup competition. The winners from each group progressed through to the final, with Ballybay & Corduff participating in the shield & Magheracloone & Aughnamullen in the cup. Boths finals were very enjoyable to watch and very competitive with Ballybay & Magheracloone emerging victorious in their respective finals.
