Ulster Club Championship: Scotstown take on Derry champions Ballinderry Shamrocks in Saint Tiernach’s Park, Clones this Sunday in the Ulster Club Championship Quarter-Final. Throw-in is at 2:30pm – best of luck to management and players.

Senior League: Ballybay conceded the League fixture scheduled for last Sunday. Scotstown will now face the winner of Monaghan Harps versus Magheracloone in the Senior League Final. The Final will take place on Sunday, November 10th.

Development Draw: The Scotstown GAA Development Draw took place on Sunday night in the Complex, and the winners were: 1st Prize (SEAT Ibiza car): Oliver Caulfield, Middletown; 2nd Prize (cruise): Anna Gallagher, Cremoyle, Swann’s Cross; 3rd Prize (€1000): Noel McGuirk, Guilford; 4th Prize (€500): Teresa Rooney, Corranny; 5th Prize (€500): John O’Brien, Dernahatten, Emyvale; 6th Prize (a pair of 2014 All-Ireland Football Final tickets): Rosemary Carragher, Annyalla. Congratulations to all the winners, and thanks to everyone who supported this major fundraising venture. The money raised will allow the club to continue with the redevelopment plans for the Kilmore East training grounds. Go raibh maith agaibh!

Ciste: The October Ciste draw took place on Saturday night in the Complex. The winners were: €700 – Gerry McQuaid, Drumdesco; €300 – Catherine McKenna, Feebaghbane; €100 – Patsy McKenna, Doogary; €100 – Sean Clerkin, Mullaghdun; €100 – Vera Duffy, Mullaghmore East; €100 – Keith McGonnell, Mullaghmore West; €100 – Jackie Maguire, Mullaghmore North; €100 – Willie Smyth, The Ferns, Scotstown. Annual General Meeting: The 2013 Annual General Meeting of Cumann Lúthchleas Gael, An Bhoth will take place on Friday, November 22nd in the Complex.

Conversational Irish: The conversational Irish group continues every Tuesday night from 8-9pm. Caint is comhrá as Gaeilge – tá fáilte le gach duine!

Condolences: Sympathy is extended to the families and friends of the recently deceased including Harry Conway, Carrickmacross and Kathleen Kearney, London (nee Smyth, formerly Killycarnan).
