Senior League

A rather tame end to the league in Rockcorry on Sunday last when the locals couldn’t muster a team. Our league placing was determined elsewhere and so our season came to a close. Well done to all the players and management who showed real spirit and commitment by turning out in the weeks since the county final, those who stand up when you need them are the ones you can rely on. Players and management now take a well-earned rest and will be back renewed and refreshed for 2014.

Ireland v Australia

A great honour for our club and county in Croke Park on Saturday night last when Conor McManus represented us with distinction in the Ireland jersey against Australia. With a Man of the Match display he scored 24 points ( 2 goals and 4 overs) and contributed to many others to help  Ireland  claim victory and the Cormac McAnallen Cup .The Irish Daily Mail Man of the Match trophy was presented to Conor by former Meath star Liam Hayes.
